Really, all I have to say about Wollongong is that it's a beautiful city. Pristine Beaches, lush nature trails, temples and the lighthouse.Sublime Point Lookout was our first stop after leaving the Sydney Central Business District.

You can reach the lookout, which provides expansive views of the city and the Pacific Ocean, in a matter of minutes from the parking lot. After admiring the scenery, it was time to tackle the Kelly's Falls walking circuit.

Walking across the river is a necessary part of this medium-difficulty trek, but the views of the waterfall at the finish are well worth it. Next, we visited the largest Buddhist temple in the southern hemisphere, Nan Tien's Temple. It was like entering into the world of serenity and spirituality.

We concluded the day along the shores of Wollongong beach and Flagstaff point lighthouse. Bonus Tip: There are rock pools here which is perfect for summer.
