Manoj, Kailash, Prahar and I embarked on the journey to explore the picturesque town of Lakes Entrance located along the eastern coast of Victoria. Town boasts the largest network of inland waterways in the Southern Hemisphere. Surprisingly enough, the town has no lake despite the name Lake Entrance. We started exploring the town from the Lake Entrance Beach which was followed by walk in the town ending with drinks watching the 2023 Footy Final.  

Fun Fact: The town gets its name from the narrow channel known as "The Entrance" where the lakes meet the Southern Ocean. While heading back, we stopped at the Lakes Entrance Lookout and the view was breathtaking. The network of lakes, rivers, and lagoons that weave through the landscape is truly the town's crown jewel.

While heading back we visited Lake Wellington, which I would say is a must if you ever drive down to Lake Entrance.
