Canberra
After shutting off our laptops on last working day of the year, Prahar and I made up a plan to head up to Canberra. I was down in Sydney to catch the fireworks anyway and it was a nice and easy way to visit the country’s capital and cross it off my list.
Canberra is about 3 hours drive from Sydney. Weather was a bit tricky on the day; rainy, windy, gloomy but we entered the capital at 43 degrees . About halfway through our trip we stopped at the famous Heatherbrae’s Pies. I would say it is a must if you are drive through Sutton forest.
Our first stop was the parliament house of Canberra. We spent a good one hour there. It takes a while to see everything but we streamlined our tour. The next stop was Mount Ainslie Lookout where we could see the entirety of Canberra.
We finally went to a nice Nepali Restaurant Lakeside Gurkha’s Restaurant for momo by the Lake Burly Griffin to conclude our trip.

A unique blend of political Significance, Artistic Expressions and natural Beauty.
